| Align the lancet with the vein avoiding recently used and possibly hemorrhaging areas; release the lancet | Massage blood into puncture point to allow blood drop of volume suitable for your glucometer to form; restrain the cat from shaking his head by leaning your body on his butt and by keeping the left (or right) hand around his forehead | Quickly align the glucometer's slot with the blood drop (according to instructions to the device) to allow for appropriate absorption |
